Hi Everyone,

I feel like I have had my hands bound behind my back and have so despartely wanted to get on the computer to talk to all my sisters but have been so busy that I am only now getting to it. I was absolutely overjoyed to read everyone's comments and can't help but think the LORD is truly helping us not only to understand the psalms but to bond together as a group who all have a desire to serve Him. I still have that feeling from our last psalm that I want to jump up and shout with joy about our saviour- isn't it a wonderful feeling. I am enjoying this week's psalm and can't believe all the things that are mentioned in here that the LORD does for us. I am looking forward to talking with everyone on Thursday so see you then!

Hi Takako,

It was so nice to have you join us last week on the blog. Now that Cathie has posted your picture it is so easy to talk to you because I feel we already have met and look forward to the day that I can really meet you and have a nice bible discussion with you. I am a fairly new Christian and can't get enough of talking to people and asking questions so I look forward to one day being able to sit down with you and have a good old fashion talk about the LORD. Hope to meet you soon

Debbie, you are so refreshing, thankyou for all your comments, like you I have not been able to get to a computer this week we have been away. Thankyou Angie for sharing with us about your friend Takako, we look forward to meeting you Takako, and sharing with you.
Psalm 118 is such a wonderful Psalm of praise and thanks to God for what He has done for us and what He will do for us if we continue to trust in Him and not in man or leaders.
I notice the phrase lovingkindness is repeated quite often and I have a note in my Bible to say it is a covenant term. God's covenant(promise) is everlasting it will never fail! V.16 I shall not die but live, that is His promise to me and all who repent and believe.
There are several references to Jesus in v22,23, and 26 refers to Jesus when He came riding on a donkey into Jerusalem. v27 He was sacrificed for us and through that sacrifice we now llive in the light!
Hope I have this correct Cathie, look forward to your comments.
